Purview’s Linda Zhang appeared as a guest on Bloomberg TV Day Break on February 8, 2019. She discussed the global economic trends, investment strategies and low-carbon investments. She pointed out that despite the slowdown in manufacture activities in large economies, such as China and Germany, service sectors continue to expand. For investment strategies, she favors the small cap over large companies, as the small cap is often less exposed to international trades, in light of the lingering uncertainty on trade wars. She favored the long-term investment theme in emerging market technology, e-commerce and mobile payments sectors, and the ways to invest in these themes through ETFs. She also argued for investors to consider both return, risk and the environmental and social impact of their portfolios, such as lowering the investment’s carbon footprint, a key feature of Purview investment strategy.
